BFG Universal Wire Loop er en hurtig og alsidig måde at fastgøre udstyr til din riffel eller rygsæk. Sådan vælger og bruger du den til pålidelig fastholdelse.
Quick Answer
The BFG Universal Wire Loop (ULoop™) is a quick-detach attachment that secures gear to almost any mounting point—ideal for rifles with small eyelets or rail slots. Choose it when you need fast, tool-free installation and solid retention.
Why the ULoop Stands Out
The ULoop™ is a quick-detach version of Blue Force Gear's popular Universal Wire Loop. It's designed for faster and easier installation, especially on smaller eyelets found on HK, SIG, and FN weapons. That means you can attach slings, pouches, or other gear without wrestling with screws or tools.
Its versatility is unmatched: you can install it through eyelets, holes in railed handguards, M-Lok slots, and KeyMod slots. This makes it a one-size-fits-most solution for different platforms and attachment points.
Trade-Offs to Consider
While the ULoop excels at quick attachment, it's not a permanent solution. If you need a hard-mounted, zero-movement connection for heavy gear, a traditional wire loop or screw-based mount might be more secure. The ULoop is best for items that you may need to remove or swap frequently.
Also, while it works on KeyMod and M-Lok, the fit may be tighter on some aftermarket handguards. Always test for a snug fit before trusting it with critical gear.
Decision Rules for Choosing and Using the ULoop
- Mounting Point: If your gear has a small eyelet, M-Lok slot, KeyMod slot, or a hole in a railed handguard, the ULoop will work. If you only have a standard sling swivel, consider a different adapter.
- Attachment Speed: Choose the ULoop when you need to attach or detach gear quickly without tools. For permanent installations, a screw-based mount is more secure.
- Weight and Movement: For light to medium gear like slings or small pouches, the ULoop provides solid retention. For heavy items that must not shift, use a hard mount. Test the ULoop with your heaviest gear before field use.
