3AC Cobra Buckle Kit

$46.23 ~~$69~~ In stock

The 3AC Cobra Buckle Kit converts the 3AC cummerbunds front Velcro® attachment into an easy don/doff connection between the front of the cummerbund and front plate pockets of the plate carrier. MOLLE compatible pouches can still be installed directly on top of the cummerbund side buckle mount. The 3AC Cobra buckle kit requires zero modification to install on the 3” Assault cummerbund and is completely reversible. See instructions for installation.

Compatible with the Patented 3” Assault Cummerbund only
Constructed with laser cut thermoplastic
Does not reflect under IR light/NOD
No modification required to cummerbund
Easy don/doff of plate carrier
No loss of MOLLE on cummerbund
Made in USA

Took me under two minutes to install, and now the cummerbund pops on and off without wrestling the Velcro every time I suit up. The cobra buckle connection feels rock solid when engaged, and the whole front plate pocket setup is noticeably cleaner. Only thing I'd add is a spare set, since I'm alread

The Velcro swap to this buckle kit is a game changer for quick rig changes—the click when it locks is solid and reassuring. I can now take my carrier on and off in seconds without fighting the front attachment every time.

Finally, putting on my plate carrier doesn’t feel like a wrestling match — the cobra buckle clicks in place with a satisfying snap, right where the front of the cummerbund meets the plate pocket. It’s a small change but it makes daily training runs so much quicker.
