The cord channel on these keeps my comms wire flat against the strap instead of bunching up, and the padding is thin enough that it doesn’t add bulk under my cummerbund. Took them on a long ruck and my collarbones felt way less beat up afterward.

The padding sits exactly where the straps dig in, and it doesn’t bulk up under my chest rig at all. Took a long range day with comms routed through the channel and forgot they were even on.

The routing channel is a nice touch—I ran comms wire through mine without any bunching or hot spots where the cable presses into my shoulder. It’s slim enough that my placard still sits flush, but the difference in comfort after a full day of wear is noticeable.
